Harbor Diesel and Equipment, Inc. was founded in San Pedro, California in 1971 as an authorized Full Service Dealer for the Detroit Diesel Allison Division of General Motors with a staff of six employees and a commitment to provide the highest quality sales, parts and service support to our customers.

In 1976, Harbor Diesel and Equipment, Inc. moved to its present location in Long Beach, California consisting of approximately 53,000 sq. ft. of buildings on 1.5 acres of land and have grown into a company with annual sales volume in excess of  $14 million and a staff of fifty-seven (57) employees representing several product lines and servicing several market segments.

In 2004, our corporate operating name of HD Industries, LLC. was established in order to encompass all of the product lines and diverse markets we represent. Today HD Industries, LLC. – a division of Harbor Diesel and Equipment, Inc. primarily operates as the Southwestern Distributor of ZF Heavy Duty Off-Highway and On-Highway Driveline Products, the Southern California Dealer for Capacity of Texas Trailer Jockey Trucks and Factory Authorized Full-Service Dealer for Cummins, Caterpillar (TEPS and AMD), Detroit Diesel and John Deere Natural Gas On-Highway Engines.

The challenges that face our business and our customers today are many and the quest will be never ending. Issues such as emission reduction solutions and energy efficiency for internal combustion engine powered equipment to help enhance and protect our Environment continue to develop. HD Industries will continue to work closely and make the necessary investment in employee training, special tooling and replacement parts inventory with the manufacturers we represent to provide the best after sales service support to our customers as new product comes to market.

We will also continue to look for new opportunities to bring emission reduction and energy efficiency technology solutions as they are developed and proven to our customers in order to enhance and protect our Environment.
